Geocart® Version 2.6, the Macintosh map projection program

This demo version is a fully functioning version of Geocart 2.6 except that it will not export or print the maps you create. The files has been split into four parts to improve the chances of a successful download. Download each file, decompress it, and put them all together in the Geocart demo folder.

All the files have been compressed using Stuffit HQX format. Use Stuffit Expander or another program that can read BinHex format to decompress these files.

Download Geocart Demo (740 kb)

These files are required to run the demonstration and are found in the Geocart demo folder.

Download Coastlines database and Example files (420 kb)

These files are required to run the demonstration. After download, move the expanded files in the archive folder to the Geocart demo folder. Note: the deomo coastline has been truncated from 45°N to 45°S.

Download other databases (390 kb)

International borders, major rivers, Color Relief and World Capitals Labels. After download, move the expanded files in the archive folder to the Geocart demo folder.

Download Digital Chart of the World example databases (290 kb)

An example of the high resolution vector databases. They contain the complete DCW data for a small area in Scotland. After download, move the expanded files in the archive folder to the Geocart demo folder.

Download examples of National Atlas data bases (260 kb)

Examples of the high resolution vector and label databases for the U.S. They contain the complete data for a section of the Oregon/Idaho border. After download, move the expanded files in the archive folder to the Geocart demo folder.

Download the Geocart User manual in PDF format for use with the demo software and detailed explanations of all the mapping functions and procedures in this map software application package.

Download the Geocart Digital Chart of the World User manual in PDF format for use with the demo software and detailed explanations of all the mapping functions and procedures in this map software application package.

Download the Geocart DCW Coverage Map (1.5 MB)

Download the Geocart DCW Coverage Map in PDF format for determination of the appropriate DCW database to use for specific territory coverage.

Download the Geocart Crop Data Base Instructions (132 KB)

Download the Geocart Crop Data Base User manual in PDF format - detailed instructions on how to crop specific areas from the very large continental databases and extract just the specific territory of interest.
